Like ac_desert and ac_desert2, ac_desert3 feature a little desert village and each one of the two teams have a base in.

This map have two CTF flags. The version found ACR 2.5.9 (and several earlier ACR versions) also have five secure flags.

The base of the red team is at the northwest of the map. The one of the blue team is at the southeast.
